As a Carer in our Casual Pool, you can enjoy the flexibility of choosing shifts that suit your lifestyle while gaining experience across our four beautiful residential homes in Dungog, Hawks Nest & Newcastle. No two days are the same — every shift brings current experiences, new residents to support, and new opportunities to grow.

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with residents and their families to deliver personal care.
Provide high‑quality, timely, and effective care in line with individual care plans.
Support residents to maintain independence and engage in meaningful daily activities.
Follow a person‑centred approach that recognises individual goals and preferences.
Contribute to risk management and continuous quality improvement.
Build strong working relationships with teams across multiple sites.

Qualifications

Genuine compassion, empathy, and a strong commitment to resident care.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence using technology within the role.
A collaborative approach – value teamwork and supporting each other.
Qualifications in Individual Support or relevant experience (desirable).
