The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our friendly team.
Your duties will include but not be limited to -
- Carrying out a diverse range of mechanical repairs to all road transport equipment
- Mobile Field Service repairs
- Hydraulic repairs and fault finding
- Diagnose and repair Tail lift faults .
- Carry out servicing to tail lifts and Dock levelling Equipment
- Mechanical repairs and servicing of side lifters, truck mounted cranes, skip loaders and hook lifts, Road Traffic attenuators , Vehicle VMS and Arrow boards.
- Field Service
- General servicing of truck and trailers
- Repairs to driveline components, underbody, brakes, bearings and suspension
- Time card allocation & documentation of work completed
- Parts allocation to service reports
- Field service work
Skills and Requirements
- Two years experience post trade in the road transport repair industry
- Relevant Trade Qualification
- Full set of comprehensive tools
- Outstanding time management skills required
- Great eye for detail, fault finding and diagnosis
- Experience with road transport industry /repairs
