The role
We're after a reliable Vac Truck Operator / Labourer to run our vacuum excavation truck and pitch in on site. You'll be doing non-destructive digging, exposing underground services and general labouring alongside our plumbers and gasfitters.
What you'll be doing
• Operating the vac truck for non-destructive / hydro excavation
• Potholing and safely exposing underground services
• General labouring, site prep and clean-up
• Loading, unloading and disposing of spoil
• Keeping the truck and gear clean, maintained and compliant
• Working safely and following site inductions and SWMS
What you'll need
• Current HR (Heavy Rigid) truck licence – essential
• Reliable, punctual and a hard worker
• Physically fit for manual labour
• Positive attitude and a team player
• Own reliable transport to get to and from site – essential
• White Card (construction induction), or willing to get one
• Vac truck / non-destructive digging experience is a bonus, not essential – we'll train the right person
Nice to have
• Experience in civil, plumbing or excavation work
• Traffic control or other tickets
