The Independent National Security Legislation Monitor (INSLM) position is a part of the Australian Government, established under the INSLM Act 2010. The INSLM independently reviews national security and counter-terrorism laws for effectiveness and rights protections.

Appointments may be full-time or part time, with security clearances required. The role includes handling referrals and public inquiries, and applications close 5:00 pm (AEST) on 21 August 2026.
