About the Role

We are a pharmaceutical manufacturer seeking Casual Production Assistants to join our growing team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out manufacturing activities in a manner that complies with GMP guidelines, internal procedures, and Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S;) requirements at all times.

An exciting chance currently exists for enthusiastic Production Assistants to join our Southport team.

As a growing manufacturing operation, flexibility is essential. Our facility operates between 6:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, and team members may be required to work across varying start and finish times to support production requirements and business needs.

Duties Include

- Demonstrate a high level of commitment to Work Health and Safety obligations.

- Follow relevant SOPs, Work Instructions and regulatory guidelines to ensure the quality of products manufactured.

- Observe all GMP, safety and company policies and procedures.

- Perform repetitive activities on a production line.

- Regularly lift products and materials weighing up to 20kg.

- Participate in GMP and other training programs.

- Assist in the introduction of new process technologies and manufacturing processes.

- Perform general maintenance on equipment.

- Undertake stocktaking and warehouse duties in accordance with Good Warehousing Practices.

- Ensure compliance with TGA, ODC and Queensland Health regulations.

- Assist in maintaining inspection-ready facilities to support customer, regulatory and internal audits.

- Maintain cleanroom standards by following gowning procedures, contamination control practices and environmental monitoring requirements.

- Undertake scheduled cleaning and deep-cleaning activities of manufacturing, packaging and warehouse areas.

- Complete cleaning and sanitation activities in accordance with approved procedures and GMP requirements.

- Accurately complete manufacturing,



packaging, cleaning and warehouse documentation in accordance with GMP requirements.

- Assist with general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe and organised workplace.

- Work across manufacturing, packaging, cleaning and warehouse functions as required by operational needs.

What It Takes to Be a Successful Team Member

- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

- Previous experience in pharmaceutical, food, nutraceutical or clean manufacturing environments is advantageous.

- Demonstrated commitment to cleanliness, organisation and attention to detail.

- Understanding of GMP cleaning requirements, contamination control principles and cleanroom practices is desirable.

- Ability to apply knowledge in a practical and professional manner.

- Willingness to work as part of a team and support others as required.

- Ability to achieve objectives within required timeframes.

- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

- Ability to maintain and use basic tools and equipment.

- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

- Physically fit and capable of handling products and materials weighing up to 20kg.

- Ability to stand for prolonged periods.

- Reliable, punctual and committed to following procedures and instructions.

- Flexible and adaptable with working hours, duties and work areas, as operational requirements may vary.

- Available to work varying start and finish times between 6:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, in line with production schedules and business requirements.
