This is a Recruitment Pool for 2.0 FTE vacancies.Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time,Fixed Term Part Time appointment/s with the possibility ofextension(s) and/or permanency.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from whichappointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointmentsmay be made from this pool until 30th June 2027.

About the Opportunity:The Obstetricianleads the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist obstetricsand gynaecology services to patients. Promotes patient safetyand quality of care. Provides leadership, orientation,training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors intraining, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other healthworkers. In collaboration with the Head of Department (HoD)Obstetrics and Gynaecology and other Consultants, works to achievenational, state and East Metropolitan Health Service performancestandards and targets.

Works with the scope of clinical practice as defined andrecommended by the Area Medical Credentialing Committee.
