The Role

We’re currently seeking experienced Mobile Plant Mechanics to join our team at our Naval Base workshop. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of Caterpillar and Komatsu mobile equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, service, and repair Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment




- Conduct on-hire and off-hire inspections of mobile plant and equipment
- Interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Create parts lists using technical manuals
- Perform risk assessments and implement safety controls
- Maintain compliance with HSE policies and procedures
- Keep work areas clean and well‑organised

What We’re Looking For

- Australian Trade Qualification – HD/Plant Mechanic
- Proven experience with Caterpillar mobile plant maintenance
- Proficiency with CAT ET and SIS systems
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work unsupervised
- High Risk Work Licenses (LF, WP, CN, DG) – highly regarded
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
