An established, Doyle's Guide Recommended commercial law firm in Adelaide is looking for a Senior Commercial Lawyer to join its growing team, following a recent merger that's expanding its commercial, property and estate planning capability.

This role is being considered at Senior Associate through to Partner level, depending on the calibre of the candidate. This isn't a role where you're one of many hands on a file. It's hands‑on and client-facing from day one, with genuine ownership of matters across:

- Building, Construction and Infrastructure
- Business, Corporate and Commercial
- Employment Law
- Property, Leasing and Conveyancing
- Wills, Estate Planning and Estate Administration

The firm is deliberately positioned to stay large enough to deliver quality work efficiently, but small enough that every matter stays with the lawyer the client actually knows and trusts.

What we're looking for:

- Admitted to practice in South Australia (or eligible for admission), with 5–10+ years' post-admission experience in commercial law




- Demonstrated experience in one or more of the practice areas above
- Robust end-to-end matter management — file progression, client communication and billing
- A pragmatic, commercially focused approach to advice
- Genuine collegial instincts and the ability to build long-term client relationships

Also valued:

- Experience acting as agent for interstate law firms in SA courts and tribunals
- Familiarity with LEAP, Actionstep or similar practice management software
- Involvement with the Law Society of South Australia or relevant committees
- Experience in commercial property transactions, business sales and acquisitions, or estate planning
