Salary Range: School Officer Level 3 $42.71 Gross casual hourly rate plus 12.75% Superannuation

About The Role

Good Counsel College is a small, but growing, Catholic co-educational secondary school with a strong sense of community and pride that offers a quality and holistic educational experience for students in Years 7-12. It operates under the auspices of the Catholic Diocese of Cairns and enjoys collaborative partnerships with Catholic Primary schools in Tully, South Johnstone, Silkwood, Innisfail and Babinda whilst also welcoming students from state and other schools who are seeking a Catholic education for their children and share our values. The College strives to provide a quality education for the whole person in a secure and nurturing environment where students can grow, emotionally, spiritually, academically and physically.

The Chosen Candidate Will Be Required To

- Provide one-to-one or small group student support
- Assist students to remain engaged and on task in learning activities
- Support student wellbeing, independence and social development
- Assist teachers with the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities




- Attend excursions and activities as required
- Support the Catholic ethos and values of the College

- Hold a Working with Children Blue Card
- Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education
