Full‑time permanent Operator position operating Monday to Friday rotating roster.
Responsibilities
- Manage your daily work in the effective execution of the Operations Schedule and department plans.
- Identify and escape issues and constraints in your work area, propose and be involved in solutions as required.
- Participate in improvement projects to meet agreed objectives and outcomes.
- Manage your work efficiently and cost effectively to meet operational plans and targets.
- Positively contribute to a motivated and engaged workforce through effective communication, participation and teamwork.
- Maintain the required level of skill and competencies relevant for your job role and development.
- Ensure cGMP compliance by following company policies and procedures.
- Complete GMP documentation to cGMP standards.
- Report any deviations in processing or procedures immediately.
- Identify and participate in the implementation of CI opportunities.
- Participate in OE workshops and training.
- Participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace by complying with provided instructions and processes, taking reasonable care to ensure your own safety and health and that of others, and to report any injury, hazard or illness immediately.
- Other duties as requested by your manager and/or the department manager.
- Communicate and endorse safety practices, monitor key safety performance indicators and visibly participate in promoting safety policies and initiatives.
- Perform tasks on digital operating systems such as SAP and MES.
Qualifications
- Problem solving skills.
- Neat handwriting.
- Initiative and a "can-do" attitude.
- Experience in a similar environment (preferred).
- Ability to read and follow instructions.
- Ability to calculate and solve mathematical problems using a calculator.
- Ability to interpret and plot numbers on charts.
- Ability to understand the importance of strict, government enforced procedures.
