The Role
The Town is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Planner to join our Planning & Economic Development team and gain hands‑on experience across a diverse range of planning projects and development matters. Working under the guidance of the Senior Strategic Planner, you will contribute to statutory and strategic planning initiatives, assist with development assessment processes and help deliver positive planning outcomes that support the community’s future growth and prosperity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist with development assessments and planning projects.
- Prepare planning reports, research and recommendations.
- Engage with stakeholders and support community consultation.
- Contribute to strategic planning and urban development initiatives.
- Provide planning advice, customer service and compliance support.
Work Related Requirements
- Degree qualification in Urban and Regional Planning (or equivalent).
- Membership of or eligibility for a membership of a relevant professional body.
- National Police Clearance.
- Current ‘C’ class driver’s licence.
- Rights to work in Australia.
