DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a dedicated and driven Assistant Accountant Intern to support our client's accounting and finance team. This internship provides hands‑on experience and an excellent opportunity to develop valuable skills for a career in both the accounting and travel sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and preparing financial reports
- Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing procedures
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct research and analysis to support financial decision‑making
- Maintain accurate and organised financial records
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
- Assist with ad‑hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager
- Exposure intocompany softwares MYOB, Employment Hero, and others

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:





- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time‑management and organisational skills
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
