We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Percy Plunkett, Penrith NSW, 2750. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our customers.

What you'll be doing

- Prepare and cook a range of meals following the restaurant's recipes and standards.
- Wash, cut, measure and prepare ingredients before cooking.




- Cook food using a variety of cooking methods, including grilling, frying, roasting and baking.
- Check the quality of ingredients and ensure food is fresh and stored correctly.
- Keep the kitchen, equipment and work areas clean and tidy.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.

What we're looking for

- Qualifications in commercial cookery and hospitality.
- At least two years’ experience in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred
- Strong cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food safety
- Team player with good communication and problem-solving skill.
