Senior Business Development Manager – Fire Services

I'm working with a leading national player in fire protection and building services to secure a Business Development Manager for their Sydney team. You'll have the hance to drive meaningful growth in a business known for its technical expertise, brand strength and clear expansion strategy.

The Opportunity

In this role you’ll have the opportunity take ownership of developing new business, building a pipeline and converting opportunities into long-term client partnerships. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to identify high-value market segments, shape go-to-market strategy and contribute to ongoing commercial growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and secure new Fire System Testing (FST) contracts
- Build, manage and convert a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Develop trusted, long-term relationships with key stakeholders
- Negotiate and close deals in line with pricing and margin expectations
- Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery
- Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility and market insights





About You

You’re a commercially minded BDM who is confident operating in a technical, service-based environment, and building relationships with top tier accounts.

You bring

- Experience in the fire protection industry
- A consistent track record of achieving revenue targets and growing pipeline
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial judgementThe ability to engage credibly with stakeholders across technical and operational teams
- A proactive, self-driven approach with strong organisational capability
- Some exposure to fire compliance standards
