About this opportunity

We’re currently looking for a customer focused and professional Administration Officer to join our supportive team at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba on a casual basis. As the first point of contact, you’ll play a vital role in creating a positive patient experience, while ensuring the smooth coordination of administration services across our private hospital.

About our hospital

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. It is a 197‑bed facility that provides medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation services, supported by allied health, pathology, radiology and pharmacy on site. The emergency department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.

Qualifications and Experience

- Ability to work a casual basis, with a flexible approach and willingness to work across a rotating roster where required
- Previous experience in an administrative / clerical setting ideally in a health care or hospital environment
- Advanced keyboard skills including word processing and database management, including patient management systems
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills




- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands
- Understanding of the interrelationships between private hospitals and health fund services is desirable
