Position

We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer (Civil 3D & 12D) to work on civil infrastructure projects across major land development and infrastructure initiatives. This is a permanent role based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne offices.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, modelling, and production of drawings for civil infrastructure projects, working independently on varied design and modelling tasks. Ensure high-quality output within time and cost budget constraints and meet client expectations.

Develop and maintain a sound understanding of civil design principles and specialist drafting software skills such as 12D and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

- 8+ years’ experience in a similar role mentoring and managing project teams
- Diploma or Certificate qualification in Civil Design / Computer aided drafting
- Experience with drafting software for roadways, earthworks, stormwater, water quality and general site grading
- Geometric roadway design experience to Austroads standards
- Site grading and earthworks analysis
- Coordination of utility networks and stormwater drainage




- Knowledge and skills in Civil Infrastructure and CAD technologies (12D, Civil3D, BIM Collaboration software)
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Problem solving and analytic skills
- Ability to apply theoretical concepts to analyse and interpret information
- Experience in the production of design documentation
