We are seeking a trade-qualified plumber to transition into hydraulic design consulting engineering within a private hydraulic consultancy with offices on the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast. This role offers a long-term, office-based career built on foundational trade skills, with opportunities to influence design solutions on major commercial projects and participate in industry bodies.
Responsibilities
- Learn hydraulic design on major and minor commercial projects (e.g., hospitals, aged care facilities, universities, multi-residential, local municipal projects) with mentoring from an experienced designer
- Work with the latest design software programs
- Apply practical plumbing knowledge to front-end design solutions and considerations for onsite installation
- Collaborate with directors and staff who are trade-qualified plumbers
Qualifications
- Trade plumbing qualification
- Willingness to relocate to the Sunshine Coast or Brisbane; open to applicants from all Australian states with full work rights and equivalent qualifications
