What's the role?
This entry‑level role offers an exciting opportunity to join News Corp Australia's in‑house media agency. You'll receive full training to support daily operations, including media buying, implementation, reporting and finance reconciliation. You will be working across a range of internal brands, including The Australian, News.com.au, Body & Soul, Best Recipes, Taste, and Kidspot.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with offline bookings, digital trafficking, audience creation, and campaign setups.
- Coordinate material specs, instructions, and deadlines between internal creative teams and external media partners.
- Handle placement bookings, layout changes, and reporting for owned and contra media channels.
- Learn and utilise core media/financial systems (Spectra, Concur) and digital platforms.
- Load and match monthly media invoices in Spectra with 100% accuracy.
- Resolve account queries within 48 hours, collaborating with senior team members when needed.
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative assistance for meetings, WIPs, and documentation.
- Facilitate the execution of owned media bookings across digital and print, including reporting and stakeholder management.
- Build strong ties with internal teams (Marketing, Creative, Finance) and the National Media team, and act as a key point of contact for external media publishers and contra clients.
