The Position

Based in Condobolin and reporting to the General Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team with six direct reports. Your Directorate is responsible for Customer Service, Human Resources, Information Services, Children's Services, Early Education, Libraries, Aged Services and Youth Services, while contributing as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

About You

You will be a collaborative and strategic leader with demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams. Tertiary qualifications in business, human resources, community services or a related discipline are essential, along with a robust understanding of community service delivery, strategic planning and organisational leadership.

You will be an authentic and values-driven leader who demonstrates integrity,



accountability and professionalism in all aspects of your work. With a genuine commitment to community outcomes and organisational excellence, you will inspire your team, champion innovation and collaboration, and contribute as a valued member of the Executive Leadership Team to achieve Council's vision for the Lachlan Shire.

You will bring

- Tertiary Qualifications in business, human resources or a community services qualification.
- Working knowledge of Children’s Services and CHSP (HACC), Libraries and the Local Government Act.
- Exceptional leadership capability with strategic business planning, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven leadership experience of a multidisciplinary team including excellent interpersonal and people management skills.
- Demonstrated high level of negotiation and conflict resolution skills with the ability to work with and engaged a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Working with Children and Vulnerable People qualifications are essential for this role.
