Avant Finance, a part of the Avant Mutual group, is a specialist lender dedicated to supporting Australian medical professionals with a deep understanding of the unique journey and challenges a doctor will experience at various career stages.
As we continue to grow, we are now seeking a Relationship Director to be based in Sydney.
The successful candidate will manage a commercial broker panel alongside the Avant Finance – On Balance Sheet growth objectives by professionally managing new and existing client relationships and growing additional specific relationships and by converting new business opportunities from our direct market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Business Development to establish and grow your client base
- Pro-actively manage existing (client) relationships with reviews of pipeline and estimated deal flows. This includes discussing loan scenarios and structures with clients, ensuring fit with Avant Finance and third party product offerings.
- Maintain expected service standards – write and assist Relationship Associate with preparation and recommendation for credit submissions, ensure regular communications and follow-ups.
- Attend medical and dental conferences, broker and client functions as required - Relationship Tasks (External and Internal)
- Conduct regular sales and client calls, record activities and leads in Salesforce




- Actively manage pipeline ensuring budgets are achieved and take pro-active action to manage shortfalls
- Manage and maintain expected service standards, timely response to brokers in relation any queries; pricing, policy, product, WIP status

To be successful you will have:

- 2+ years of commercial lending experience
