Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining Sydney Metro rolling stock to ensure safe, reliable and effective operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults.
- Maintaining equipment reliability and minimising downtime.
- Completing maintenance documentation and reports.
Following all safety procedures and quality standards.
Your Profile
To be successful, you will have:
- Certificate III in Mechanical Trade (or equivalent trade qualification)
- Experience in maintenance within industrial, manufacturing, rail, mining or heavy industry environments.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to complete a CAT 1 Rail Medical and other pre-employment checks.
Work Hours: Rotating shift roster on a 2 week cycle: Day (6 AM–2 PM), Afternoon (2 PM–10 PM), and Night (10 PM–6 AM)
Pay Rates: $61.09/hr + Super + Penalties
Contract: 3-4 months
Location: Rouse Hill NSW 2155
