The Anaesthetic Department operates across multiple campuses and supports more than 11,000 surgical procedures each year, covering general, obstetric, orthopaedic, paediatric, and emergency specialties.
Services include general and regional anaesthesia, sedation, acute pain management,
and pre-operative assessment.
The team plays a key role in trauma response and obstetric care while contributing to the teaching and supervision of junior doctors.

Requirements
Applicants must hold AHPRA registration or be eligible.
Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) is preferred.
Internationally trained specialists who have been assessed by ANZCA as substantially comparable/ Partially Comparable with 52 Weeks, or Anaesthetics Consultants from Current Zealand or the United Kingdom seeking to relocate, are encouraged to apply.
