Permanent part time position on a Tuesday and Thursday available for an experienced practice nurse (RN). You will be joining a nursing team with 2 other fantastic nurses. This role has the potential to increase hours in due course.

Essential skills and experience required:

- Previous experience as a practice nurse in a General Practice is required
- Previous experience in Chronic Care is required
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- High levels of organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Experience using Best Practice is highly desirable
- Immunisations certificate (highly desirable, or willing to obtain)
- Experience in health assessments and chronic disease care plans
- Full Australian work rights

The role would include (but not limited to):

- Occasional Chronic disease management
- Wound management
- Immunisations
- Occasional CMA
- Assisting GP's in minor procedures
- Triaging patients
- Maintenance of practice equipment and stock




- Ear Syringing
- Iron infusion
- Creating processes and procedures

We are looking for a high energy, positive nurse to join our team that is patient focused and shows initiative.

The practice is open every day but you will be rostered on a Tuesday and Thursday 9am-5pm in our Treatment room and Chronic Care Clinic. Flexibility to cover additional annual leave and sick leave will also be required.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00 – $44.46 per hour

- Bachelor Degree (Required)
