Due to increased demand, Hydramech have positions for full time trade qualified machinists/Fitters in our West Kalgoorlie workshop.

The Role:

Hydramech service and repair hydraulic cylinders & components for underground mining machinery. We have a variety of in-house processes including fitting, manual lathes, borers, milling, and CNC machining. We embrace technology and use quality tooling.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following tasks:

- Machining tasks associated with the overhaul of hydraulic cylinders.
- Thread turning, rod manufacture, retube and general machining tasks.
- Measure, inspect and report on components.
- Attend and participate in toolbox talks
- Ensuring a safe and tidy workspace is maintained.
- Participate in a well-planned workshop environment.

Essential Criteria to be considered for the positions:

- A Recognised Trade Certificate or other relevant trade qualification.
- Demonstrated experience with fitting & machining in a workshop environment.
- Current WA drivers licence.




- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and a drug and alcohol test.

These positions are residential to Kalgoorlie and no fly in / fly out is offered.
