We are currently seeking a male support worker to provide individualised support to an NDIS participant (17 year old male) based in Glenmore Park. This role involves assisting with daily living activities and community access.

Please note: This is a male-only position, as permitted under Section 31 of the Sex Discrimination Act 1984 (Cth). The participant has a genuine need for male support workers due to personal care and privacy requirements.

About the Role:

- Providing assistance with daily activities, and companionship
- Supporting community engagement and recreational activities
- Maintaining detailed case notes and working collaboratively with the participant’s support team

Requirements:

- A current employee Working With Children Check (WWCC),
- A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) – No less than 2 years old
- A current drivers license, (P2 accepted) and access to a clean, road worthy vehicle for transporting participants/young people.
- Comprehensive car insurance on your intended work vehicle.
- A relevant industry qualification (minimum Cert IV), or currently studying. This can include but is not limited to; disability, community services, youth work, early childhood education, psychology, criminology, teaching, and other welfare studies.
- A current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- A Certificate of Completion for the ‘Quality, Safety and You’ NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- A Certificate of Completion for Infection Control module
- Access to a laptop/mobile phone to complete required reports.
- Ability to be adaptable in your schedule and willing to support with last-minute shift requests.





This role will also allow applicants to support other children, young people, and families through the Youth Support Worker position.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $45.28 – $95.10 per hour
