Salamander Bay Veterinary Clinic is a four-vet small animal practice located in the picturesque Port Stephens region, just north of Newcastle and only five minutes from the beach. Situated in a popular coastal destination, our clinic enjoys a loyal client base, a varied caseload, and excellent facilities. We also offer fantastic opportunities for veterinarians with a keen interest in surgery.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced LOCUM to join us for the following period:

- Dates: 24th August – 31st October

- Flexibility: Long-term availability is preferred, though blocks of one week or more will be considered.

Onsite accommodation is available if required.

The Position & Perks

- The Role: A mix of surgery and consultations.
- Autonomy: Some sole charge shifts required.
- Work-Life Balance: NO OOH (out-of-hours) or public holidays.
- Remuneration: Pay is competitive and negotiable based on experience.

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or an equivalent degree recognised in Australia.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a veterinary clinic
