Experienced Barista

Pasta Deli is a family-owned, Italian-inspired business established in 1987, focused on quality food, great coffee and genuine customer service.

We value consistency, teamwork and creating a welcoming environment for both our customers and our team. We are looking for a friendly, reliable Barista who takes pride in making great coffee and enjoys being part of a close-knit, customer-focused team in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Producing consistently high-quality espresso-based coffee
- Texturing milk to a high standard and pouring clean, consistent latte art, including hearts and rosettas
- Dialling in grinders and maintaining coffee quality throughout service
- Confidently managing the coffee station and working independently when required
- Maintaining the cleanliness, organisation and general upkeep of the coffee machine and coffee section throughout your shift
- Taking customer orders and providing friendly, efficient service
- Assisting customers across our service counters as required
- Learning our products and helping customers with their selections
- Working closely with the wider front-of-house team during busy trade
- Maintaining clean, organised and well-presented service areas

What We’re Looking For





- A minimum of one year of barista experience in a busy café environment
- Strong milk-texturing skills and confidence producing latte art
- The ability to work independently and take responsibility for the coffee section while on shift
- A genuine interest in customer service
- Someone who is happy to make coffee, take orders and assist across the store when required
- The ability to work quickly without compromising quality or service
- Reliability, punctuality and skilled presentation
- A positive attitude and strong team mindset
- Availability for weekday and/or weekend shifts
- Australian working rights
