Entry Conveyancing is a well-established and growing Conveyancing and Property Law firm seeking a motivated Solicitor with preferably 2+ years post-admission experience (PAE) to join our team.
This is a unique opportunity for a property-focused solicitor who enjoys building client relationships and being actively involved in business growth.
As one of the first points of contact for prospective and existing clients, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience while providing practical legal advice across a range of property matters.
About the Role
You will work closely with our experienced property law team, providing legal advice and support across a range of residential and commercial property matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and advising on Contracts of Sale and Section 32 Vendor Statements
- Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients throughout property transactions
- Providing Independent Legal Advice (ILA) and preparing associated certificates and documentation
- Assisting with property-related legal matters and client enquiries
- Preparing and reviewing commercial leases (preferred but not essential)
- Liaising with clients, brokers, agents, lenders and other stakeholders
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the firm's property law division
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current Australian practising certificate
- Preferably having experience in property law, conveyancing and related practice areas
- Confidence in conducting and completing contract reviews independently
- Confidence in running VIC conveyancing files from start to finish with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of NSW or QLD conveyancing practices and requirements will be highly regarded
- Experience providing Independent Legal Advice
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Confidence to lead property-related discussions with clients and explain legal concepts in a transparent and approachable manner
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- A proactive and professional approach to managing matters
- Experience preparing commercial leases will be highly regarded but is not essential
- Have a desire to build a long-term career within the property law industry
- Tech-savvy and comfortable working with technology in general, and legal practice management systems (TriConvey/Smokeball)
- Quick to learn and adapt to new systems, processes and technologies
