About the Role
We’re currently seeking motivated and client focused Accountants and Senior Accountants to join our growing team. As an Accountant or Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in driving the financial success of our diverse client base.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Townsville. At Carey Group, we’re committed to creating a workplace where our people thrive and are supported to grow their careers.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
· Minimum 3 experience in Business Services, Tax, or Audit (Accountant position).
· Minimum 5 experience in Business Services, Tax, or Audit (Senior Accountant position).
· Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
· CPA or CA certification is a desirable but not essential,
we offer study support and mentoring.
· Strong technical capability in applying accounting and taxation standards.
· Strong technical capability in applying Compliance standards.
· Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
· Well-organised with proven time management skills.
· Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
