Perspective is seeking a Victorian Sales Manager on behalf of a market leader in material handling equipment, wheels, castors and industrial application. Our client is renowned for its creative technologies and customer-centric approach, consistently achieving year-on-year growth across dynamic markets.

About the role:
As a Sales Manager you'll be the face of the brand across Victoria, whilst managing and supporting state-based team members, with the flagship in Dandenong South, with other sites in Clayton and Epping. In growing the sales whilst maintaining and improving the structure and processes in your own autonomy. It will be vital that you develop and drive leadership to create a team and culture that best supports growth and success.

This role is responsible for building strong business relationships and effectively communicating the full range of products and solutions to support the business objectives of Key Accounts and other customers, while driving sales growth and increasing market share across primarily Victoria.

Salary and Remuneration:
Base Salary : $125,000 (commensurate with experience)
Generous car allowance with phone and tablet included

Your responsibilities will include:

- Drive sales growth and meet profitability targets
- Develop and execute sales and distribution strategies
- Provide input into the national marketing and sales strategies
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with Key Accounts and major customers
- Develop tailored account plans to maximise customer value
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities within the territory




- Manage the sales process from lead generation through to closing deals
- Assist in the development of new stores and relocations
- Conduct a minimum of 15 face-to-face hours per week with clients and prospects
- Present and promote product solutions through samples, catalogues, and demonstrations
- Deliver exceptional customer service and technical product knowledge
- Expand product reach into new markets with strategic sales planning
- Monitor and report on project performance, budgets, and KPIs
- Represent the company at trade shows, events, and exhibitions
- Perform other duties as required
- About you:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in sales and territory management (B2B & B2C)
- Degree qualification desirable but not essential
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and ambitious
- Strong market insight and competitor awareness
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident in delivering presentations and leading negotiations
- Strong relationship-building skills across all levels
- Effective multitasker with the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Capable of working independently while being a team player
- Professional, trustworthy, and able to manage confidential information
- Technically minded with the ability to learn and explain product features
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Salesforce is a plus

Travel Requirements:

- Frequent domestic travel and occasional overseas travel will be required. Passport required.
