Event Food Truck Crew Member – Casual (10–15 Weekends Per Year)
About the Role

Vic Brat Haus is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and friendly Event Food Truck Crew Member to join our growing team.

This is a casual role working approximately 10–15 weekends per year at festivals, markets and events across Melbourne. It's perfect for someone looking for extra weekend work who enjoys working with people, loves food and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

As an Event Food Truck Crew Member, you'll be one of the faces of Vic Brat Haus, helping create an outstanding customer experience through friendly service, quality food preparation and maintaining a clean, organised food truck. No two events are the same, making this a fun and rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and pack down the food truck before and after events.

- Prepare food for service, including assembling and serving our premium German sausages and menu items.

- Take customer orders with a friendly, skilled attitude.

- Operate the POS system and accurately process cash and EFTPOS payments.

- Deliver fast, efficient and friendly customer service, even during busy periods.

- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and food hygiene standards throughout every shift.

- Restock ingredients, drinks and supplies during service.

- Keep the food truck clean, organised and presented to a high standard.

- Support the team with general event operations as required.

- Represent the Vic Brat Haus brand with professionalism, enthusiasm and a positive attitude.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with a fantastic attitude and a strong work ethic.

Ideally, you'll have:





- Excellent English communication skills.

- A friendly, outgoing personality and confidence interacting with customers.

- Outstanding reliability and punctuality.

- High standards of cleanliness and personal presentation.

- The ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.

- Previous hospitality, retail or customer service experience (preferred but not essential).

- A current Food Safety Certificate, or willingness to obtain one.

- Availability to work weekends and occasional public holidays.

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

- A current driver's licence is advantageous but not essential.
