We are seeking an experienced Aluminium Fabricator / Welder to join our highly skilled team at Howarth's Sheet Metal Fabrications Pty Ltd. This fulltime position is based in our workshop in Clontarf, Queensland. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the production and assembly of high-quality fabricated metal products for our diverse range of commercial and industrial clients.
Your Tasks :
- Read and interpret drawings to fabricate components to specification
- Operate welding equipment using MIG, TIG welding techniques
- Carry out metal cutting, forming, fitting and finishing processes using a variety of hand and power tools
- Assemble, fit and finish fabricated metal components and products
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting quality and safety requirements
- Strong proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams and documentation
- Knowledge of Metal Fabrication processes including cutting,
bending, forming and fitting
- Commitment to quality with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work both as part of a Team and Autonomously to meet production deadlines
