About the role
CEA Technologies Pty Limited is seeking a Corporate Services Assistant to join our team in Canberra, ACT. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences for our corporate clients and guests. As a Corporate Hospitality Assistant, you will be instrumental in ensuring that every visitor receives outstanding service and support, contributing directly to the company's reputation and client satisfaction. This role is based in Fyshwick and offers the opportunity to work within a professional environment where your attention to detail and customer service excellence will be highly valued.
Key responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain conference rooms in a ready presentation state to support internal/external meetings and events.
- Replenish tea, coffee, sugar and administrative forms in all kitchens and break rooms.
- Assist with ordering, restocking, stocktake and organisation of stationery resources and staff amenities
- Assist with ordering, collection and set-up of events and equivalent staff meetings. Including ordering catering and resources as required
- Provide backup to the Receptionist as required.
About You
- Highly developed customer relations skills.
- A high level of initiative and professionalism with a proactive approach.
- Strong communication skills, including a professional phone manner.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- A demonstrated resilience, flexibility, and ability to prioritise tasks.
- The ability to work unsupervised and be proactive in resolving time/resource issues.
- Physically able to carry medium weight items on a daily basis (coffee pots, fruit bowls etc.)
- Hold a current Drivers License.
- Previous experience in a front office, guest services, or hospitality environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage professionally with diverse clientele
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and solution-focused when handling challenging situations
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Skilled appearance and demeanour befitting a corporate hospitality setting
Eligibility
- An Australian Citizen;
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance – Negative Vetting 1.
- ITAR (Impacted positions only) - This position requires employees to access equipment and data that is subject to U.S International Traffic and Arms Regulation (ITAR). As such, applicants must disclose the following information at the time of application.
