SAP Financials Business Process Specialist – Accounts Payable

Location: Melbourne (Hybrid)
Day Rate: $1,000 – $1,100 + GST
Contract: Initial 6 Months + 12-Month Extension
Engagement: 4–5 Days Per Week

The Opportunity We're looking for an experienced SAP Financials Business Process Specialist to review, design and optimise finance processes, with a robust focus on Accounts Payable and Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
Working as part of a major ERP transformation, you'll assess current-state processes, design future-state operating models, and ensure finance processes align with SAP best practice.

Key Responsibilities
Review and map end-to-end AP and P2P processes.
Design future-state finance processes aligned with SAP Financials.
Produce process documentation, including process maps, SOPs and workflows.
Identify process improvements, control gaps and automation prospects.




Partner with Finance and project stakeholders to deliver practical process outcomes.
Support business readiness, testing and implementation activities.

About You
Robust experience designing and improving Accounts Payable and P2P processes.
Deep understanding of SAP Financials and finance process best practices.
Experience supporting SAP implementations or finance transformation programs.
Strong process mapping, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Able to translate business requirements into effective, scalable finance processes.

Desirable
SAP S/4HANA transformation experience.
Exposure to process automation or process mining.
