Final Trim Excavator Operators

We are seeking reliable and experienced Final Trim Excavator Operators to join our civil construction team. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating excavators safely and efficiently to complete a variety of earthworks and civil construction activities, including bulk excavation, trenching, and precision final trim works. This is an excellent chance for a motivated operator who takes pride in producing high-quality work.

Roster: 2:1 Roster, FIFO from Perth

Key Responsibilities

· Operate excavators in a safe and productive manner.

· Complete bulk excavation and earthmoving works.

· Excavate trenches for services, drainage, and infrastructure installation.

· Perform final trim and finishing works to design levels and specifications.

· Read and interpret plans, set-out information, and grade requirements.

· Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment maintenance checks.

· Work collaboratively with supervisors, surveyors, and ground crews.





· Maintain compliance with site safety procedures and environmental requirements.

Essential Requirements

· Minimum 2 years' experience operating excavators in civil construction

· Excavator ticket & Verification of Competency

· Construction White Card

· RIO / FMG / BHP inducted – Highly Desirable

· GPS machine control experience – Highly Desirable

· Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)

· Ongoing project prospects.

· Chance to work on major civil and infrastructure projects.

· Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

· Demonstrated experience in:

· Bulk excavation

· Trenching

· Final trim and detailed finishing works

· Ability to work from plans and achieve accurate levels and grades.
