Basil's Fine Foods in Mindarie is hiring Retail Assistants for full-time, part-time, and casual positions across multiple departments.
We're offering 3–5 shifts per week.
You'll play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and helping ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our store.
We are seeking friendly, reliable, and customer-focused people to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
BAKERY Assistant:
Make and produce baked and par-baked goods to a high standard every day eg; quiche, breads, cheese cakes and other desserts
Able to follow recipes accurately and consistently
Plan and prepare ahead for product requirements and high-demand times
CAFE Assistant:
Make high-quality coffee, beverages and acai bowls consistently
Skilled in operating espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment
Prioritise tasks to serve customers promptly
DELI Assistant:
Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service at the deli counter whilst serving hot and cold foods
Assist in food preparation and presentation, keeping display cabinets stocked and clean
Maintain stock rotation and management
CHECKOUT Assistant:
Operating POS system and handling cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently




Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, answering customer inquiries and providing recommendations on our products
Assisting with stock management, including receiving deliveries and maintaining store presentation
