Permanent Middle Years Teaching role with the Position of Responsibility
Full time position commencing in Term 1, ****
Hale School is Western Australia's oldest independent boys' school.
Located in the suburb of Wembley Downs, the current campus is situated on a magnificent 48 hectare site, approximately 13 kilometres to the north-west of Perth and two kilometres from the coast.
Hale School is seeking to appoint a permanent Middle Years Teacher with a position of responsibility as a Pastoral Care Leader to commence in Term 1, ****.
The Pastoral Care Leader will have pastoral responsibility for 25 Year 7 students.
The teacher will be required to teach two subjects, English and Humanities and Social Sciences, along with a Personal Development program.
The successful applicant will:
be passionate about and experienced in Middle Years pedagogy
be able to design, implement and assess engaging modules of work, suited to the needs of adolescent boys.
seek to nurture and develop the academic, social, emotional and spiritual development and wellbeing of boys in their care.
have excellent knowledge of the curriculum in English and Humanities and Social Sciences.
have a firm commitment to independent schooling and a willingness to support Hale School's values and Anglican traditions.




hold appropriate academic and teaching qualifications.
have current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia or be eligible for registration.
have a current Working with Children (WWC) check.
