About The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Full time ENT Registrar to join the Otolaryngology Department, for a fixed term role commencing February **** for 12 months; although shorter duration may be considered for right candidate. You will be involved in Paediatric Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the Royal Children's Hospital, including Outpatient clinics, operating theatre, and inpatient care. The role also involves collaboration with other Departments.
You Will Be Responsible For
Delivering clinical ENT care in inpatient wards,



Emergency Department, Outpatient Clinics and operating theatres. Please note; opportunities for independent operating will be limited
Working as part of a team with other medical, surgical, nursing, and allied health colleagues to ensure appropriate solutions for complex clinical and logistic issues.
Participating in the Otolaryngology registrar on call roster.
Participation in the implementation of research, audit and quality improvement projects.
Coordinating and participating in multidisciplinary teams/case conferences
Some supervision of paediatric residents and medical students in Otolaryngology Unit
Your Skills And Experience
Demonstrated capacity to work harmoniously and collaboratively within a small team
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
A desire to explore a career pathway of ENT surgery; ideally with prior clincial experience in an ENT unit.
An ability to lead by example in providing the highest quality clinical care to children and young people in respectful manner.

Valid Working with Children Check
Compliance with RCHs "Staff Immunisation - Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases" procedure
