The Assistant in Nursing (AIN) is responsible for providing positive health outcomes for their patients, under the guidance and direction of Registered Nurse (RN). On any given day, you will be assisting patients with medicine administration, providing patient personal cares, helping with their mobility, interacting with the Diversional Therapist to assist with activities, and so on. You won't be working alone - you will be supported by the Senior RN's, Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) and Health Service Manager (HSM). You will also enjoy a being part of a wider, multi-discipline team including Allied Health and Medical staff. Requirements: Certificate III Assistant in Nursing or currently enrolled in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (completion of first year and first semester or trimester of second year), or currently enrolled in a TAFE NSW Diplomas of Nursing (completion of identified foundational units in practice AND 80 hours of clinical placement).
