receptionist
role dealing with current legal enquiries.
This role primarily involves taking employment & family law enquiries from individuals who are experiencing difficulties at work, have lost their job or going through a divorce.
This is a full-time position
About the Role
You will be responsible for the following duties:
Responding to client enquiries by telephone and email.
Speaking to clients by telephone to identify their issues and how we can help (including undertaking initial legal analysis).
Booking appointments.
Customer service to clients.
Reception/admin duties including managing electronic client files and lawyer diary entries.
On-the-job legal training will be provided.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Be able to work full-time
Previous experience in customer service or office environment roles.
Preferably (but not required)
have some legal training or experience.
Must be able to learn legal concepts quickly.
Legal Matters
You will be involved with enquiries relating to largely employment law and some family law. Examples of legal issues you will be dealing with include:
Unfair dismissals
Redundancies
General Protections (discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, maternity leave etc)
Performance Management
Family law matters such as consent orders, parenting matters, binding financial agreements, property division matters.
