As the
Senior Principal Consultant, HR Projects and Governance
, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of transformation initiatives that enhance service delivery, embed best practice, and support a culture of continuous improvement across the HR portfolio. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll provide trusted advice, lead complex projects from concept to completion, and ensure our governance frameworks enable the HR function to operate effectively and efficiently.

Key responsibilities will include
:
Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of strategic HR projects that drive service improvement and operational excellence.
Partner with senior stakeholders to influence decision-making, ensure alignment with organisational priorities, and foster strong collaboration across HR teams.
Oversee HR governance activities, including compliance, annual processes, and continuous improvement of policies and procedures.
Provide expert advice and analysis to inform project direction, embedding change management and best practice principles across all initiatives.
This is a full time, continuing position at HEW Level 8.
About You
Demonstrated success in leading complex HR projects within large or matrixed organisations.
Strong understanding of HR processes, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships.
Proven analytical and problem-solving capability,
using data and insights to inform decisions and continuous improvement.
Exceptional organisational skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
A proactive and outcomes-focused approach, with a passion for driving meaningful change and enhancing HR service delivery.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia and a criminal check.
