Positions available:
Head Chef - 5+yrs Previous Head Chef experience required
Qualified Chefs - 2+yrs experience desired
What you need to succeed in this role:
Proven breakfast experience for Kitchen team – essential!
Solid communication skills with front-of-house staff and café patrons
Ability to liaise daily with the owner and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations and consistent standards
Experience working closely with suppliers and managing stock efficiently
Calm under pressure with a professional, solutions-focused attitude
Excellent attention to detail and food presentation
Commitment to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, including:
Following the Food Act (QLD) and relevant council requirements
Completing all required food safety and hygiene training
Maintaining accurate temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and allergen awareness procedures
Ensuring all food handling and storage practices meet compliance standards
Valid Australian work visa required
