Inflight Services Australia - Sky Snacks operates out ofTownsville Airport, supplyingregular passenger transport (RPT)services,charter flights, and occasionalfunctions/other catering operations.
In TSV we run8 rotating menus, so you'll get variety and strong exposure to structured, high-standard food production.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and assembling inflight meals across multiple menus
Working to strict food safety and aviation compliance requirements
Completing (and learning) flight catering paperwork and dispatch requirements (training provided)
Following production plans, portion control, labelling, and packing standards
Supporting occasional non-aviation catering for functions/events as required
Food safety + digital skills (important)
We're responsible about HACCP—and we run it digitally.
You'll be working with theDidge Food Safety platform, including:
Smart technologies and automated monitoring
Vision AI checks
Temperature sensors and digital records
If you're comfortable with tech (or you learn quickly), you'll do well here.
What we're looking for
Qualified Chef (recently completed apprenticeship welcome)
Strong hygiene and food safety mindset
Good basic computer/digital skills
Reliable, organised, and able to work to timelines
Team player who takes pride in consistent quality
Hours & pay
38 hours per week
Weekly pay
Daytime hours only:Monday to Friday,*(5-day roster)
Occasional weekend/public holiday workmay be required, subject to operational requirements
