An exciting opportunity has come about for a Senior Accountant within an AFR Top 100 Accounting Firm based in Melbourne CBD!

The Senior Accountant plays an key role in servicing a broad range of clients, ranging from SMEs and HNW Family Groups up to Large Corporates, Multinationals and ASX Listed Entities. Build on valuable skills that will serve you for the rest of your career, whether that is team leadership, leading jobs or gaining exposure to interesting matters such as M&A;, management reporting and project accounting. The firm prides themselves on having highly approachable Partners, many of whom come from Big 4 and Mid Tier backgrounds, that work closely with staff and have a wealth of knowledge to share!

About You:

- 4+ years' experience working within Public Practice in Australia, experience within a Top 100 Firm is preferable but not essential!
- CA or CPA Qualified or near completion.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders and clients & offer a warm approach to client service.
- Exposure to complex tax matters such as CGT, Small Business Concessions & Division 7a loans.




- Able to review and mentor Junior staff and able to work as part of a team-oriented and fast paced team.
- Great written and verbal communication.
