About Your New Job

Tamworth Hospital is looking for Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to work across multiple wards within the facility. Enjoy a supportive learning environment and a growth mindset for the EN team as you work across the wards you’re interested in. Tamworth Hospital champions career development.

You will not be working alone. You’ll be provided with a supported education program with the Nurse Educator and given supernumerary shifts to support learning of the role. You will receive ongoing support from ENs, RNs and the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM).

Tamworth Hospital is the principal referral hospital for the northern sector of Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD), servicing a population of over 180,000 people. As a major rural referral facility, Tamworth Hospital provides a wide range of specialist services, including emergency, medical, surgical, maternity, critical care, mental health, rehabilitation and outpatient services.

- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.

Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive PD2023_022. All new employees must agree to comply with the policy.
