Are you a caring and motivated Nurse looking to join a supportive, patient-focused general practice? We are seeking an enthusiastic Nurse to become part of the team at West Coast Medical, a busy, doctor-owned medical practice in South Perth.
This is an excellent chance for a Nurse who enjoys working in a quick-paced environment where teamwork, patient care, and professional development are valued.
About the Role
You will work alongside our General Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and administration team to deliver high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with chronic disease management and health assessments
- Wound care and dressings
- Immunisations (or willingness to obtain accreditation)
- ECGs, spirometry and other clinical procedures
- Assisting with minor procedures
- Infection prevention and sterilisation
- Stock control and clinical room preparation
- Supporting GPs with patient care and care planning
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Delivering exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current registration as an Nurse with AHPRA
- Previous experience in General Practice (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Sound clinical knowledge and attention to detail
- Current CPR certificate
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
