Position Overview: Warehouse Storeperson

The Warehouse Storeperson is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods within the warehouse. This role ensures inventory is accurately managed, orders are fulfilled on time, and all warehouse operations are carried out safely and efficiently. Key duties include loading and unloading deliveries, picking and packing orders, maintaining inventory records, and operating warehouse equipment in compliance with safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently (counterbalance, High reach and Clamp) to load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and storage areas.
- Move, stack, and organize palletised freight within the warehouse or staging areas according to company procedures.




- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Assist with incoming and outgoing shipments by verifying counts, labelling pallets, and updating inventory records.
- Coordinate with warehouse supervisors, dispatchers, and drivers to ensure timely shipment accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Follow all company policies and OSHA standards to promote a safe working environment.

Skills Required:

- Valid forklift license (mandatory).
- Ability to lift up to 25kg and stand for long periods
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse (High Reach)
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic inventory procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Eligibility Requirements:

- Candidates must currently reside in Queensland (QLD), as the warehouse is located in Rocklea, QLD.
- Full working rights in Australia are required.
- Availability for onsite warehouse operations is essential.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
