Role details The Bowen Hospital is seeking applications for a Healthcare Security Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. Your opportunity Healthcare Security Officers aim is to provide a safe, consumer focused environment by maintaining a highly visible presence as a deterrent to inappropriate behaviour, aiding in the detection of unacceptable activities, targeting asset protection to minimise loss or damage to property, and embracing a proactive risk identification and mitigation philosophy. As the Healthcare Security Officer based at Bowen, you will be providing a safe environment for all who access the Bowen Hospital and improving the patient's experience is the focus of your daily activities. You will have the opportunity to interact with patients and assist the clinical team to position and support their patients during treatment and care. About the Team The Mackay HHS Security Services comprises of a Security Officer Service, Occupational Violence Prevention Service, Care Support Officer Service and Access Administration Service. These facets of Security Services work supportively of each other, are committed to sustainable service delivery,
