We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Shop Assistant to join our local retail team. This role requires an all-rounder capable of managing point-of-sale customer service, restocking commercial coolrooms, and safely handling stock transfers.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Service & POS: Greet local patrons, process cash/card transactions, handle till balancing, and give product recommendations.
- Stock Control & Logistics: Unpack incoming deliveries, safely rotate stock, stack heavy beer/wine cartons, and occasionally manage localized vehicle transfers or customer pick-ups.
- Compliance: Enforce strict ID checks to prevent underage sales and strictly maintain Liquor Control Victoria (LCV) statutory standards.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor, service counters, and customer parking clearways clean, organized, and secure.

Pay: $26.44 – $46.14 per hour

Experience:

- bottle shop or retail: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- RSA (Required)
- Current Victorian Drivers Lisence (Preferred)
