We're seeking compassionate individuals, couples and families in the Ipswich and Toowoomba regions to become Specialised Foster Carers. This unique full-time opportunity involves welcoming a child aged 7–11 into your home for approximately nine months as part of a structured, evidence-based treatment foster care program.

As a Specialised Foster Carer, you will:

- Provide a secure, nurturing and structured home environment.
- Support a child’s development through positive reinforcement and daily routines.
- Follow an individualised care program designed specifically for the child.
- Work closely with a dedicated professional team, including a therapist, teacher, skills coach and supervisor.

You could be single, partnered, have children, be an empty nester, or come from any cultural, religious or LGBTQIA+ background. What matters most is your commitment to helping a child succeed.

To be eligible, you will need:

- A spare bedroom in your home.




- No children under five living in the household.
- A strong support network and willingness to learn.
- To live within the Ipswich or Toowoomba service area.
- To complete screening, assessment and training requirements.
